As you might guess, I think Manatee Springs was one of the most fantastic places we were able to see! I couldn't decide which pictures to use so had to use all! Hope you enjoy, too!!
This fort is the oldest masonry building still standing in the USA. Reese really loved the canons! The light house and Spanish moss on the trees were tremendous!
Our first time to play in the Atlantic Ocean was a refreshing surprise. We weren't quite fast enough for the waves. Even Reese was a little too slow! Boy, was it fun even when it started to rain.
I don't even know what to say about Savanna. It was so beautiful! The big cargo ship blasted it's horn for us and the tugs tooted for us , too. It was the first time we had seen the Spanish moss hanging from the trees. Best of all, is taking Reese into a candy shop! (I want one of these. I want one of these. I want one of these. I want one of these.) GREAT DAY!!!
Dylan went with us to see the Changing of the Guard it was his first time to see it. We took a little bus tour. I can't believe all the fun thing we got to see and do.
We walked from the Daniels apartment to the Iwo Jima Memorial. We got to see the last Marine Corps Sunset Presentation of the season. It was wonderful. I loved having Dylan standing next to me to explain what was going on.
